Jerk Burger topped with Mango Pineapple Coleslaw

Bring bold island flavor to your burger night with this juicy, perfectly seasoned creation. Featuring Deeply Root’d Jerk Seasoning and a hint of Blackened Seasoning for extra kick, these patties are pan-seared to a delicious char, then topped with melted American cheese. A refreshing mango-pineapple coleslaw adds the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and creamy crunch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. Deeply Root’d Jerk Seasoning
  • ½ tbsp. Deeply Root’d Blackened Seasoning for extra kick (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 pound of 80/20 Ground Beef (Makes 3 patties)
  • 1- frying Pan/Skillet
  • Hamburger Buns
  • American Slice Cheese
  • 12oz Coleslaw Mix
  • 3 tbsp.. Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup Mango Pineapple  Sauce

 

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl add the 1 pound of ground beef and 1/4 cup of olive oil
  2. Add the jerk Seasoning and blackened seasoning
  3. Mix the ground beef and seasoning together
  4. Divide beef into equal size patties (1/3-inch think)
  5. Heat pan or skillet between medium to high for 1 minute
  6. Add 1/4 cup of olive oil spreading the oil all over the skillet.
  7. Add the beef patties on one side and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until charred.
  8. Carefully flip the patties over and continue cooking for 2 to 3 more minutes or until charred (internal temp 165°F.)
  9. Add slice of cheese
  10. In a bowl add the coleslaw mix ,  mayonnaise, and Deeply Root'd mango Pineapple Sauce
  11. Mixed all together
  12. Add the coleslaw on top of cheeseburger meat
  13. Serve the burgers with the hamburger bun immediately.
  14. (Optional) add any dressing or topping as you see fit
